Matthew C. Bonner

Matt is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Coreline Ventures, where he oversees operations, legal, compliance, finance, fund administration, and strategy. A widely respected figure in the venture capital legal community, he brings more than 25 years in the industry, including nearly two decades at DCM, where he led the firm’s legal and operational functions, and almost eight years at Gunderson Dettmer as venture fund counsel. He began his career in tax at Ernst & Young, and is both a licensed California attorney and a Certified Public Accountant — blending legal, operational, and financial expertise. Matt serves on the NVCA General Counsel Advisory Board and holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
